I'm in awe

The recent happenings have left me speechless and I have thought out one short word that summarizes or this drama, it is just three letters ‘A.W.E.’ It is a feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear or wonder. God is awesome and we must serve him with awe.

There is a sense of casualness and liberalism that has emerged in modern Christianity that makes us so free, Jesus sets us free indeed. Are we free to live the way we want and be prodigal with the gifts God gives us? Real Freedom should be liberating and giving us the power to walk with God in righteousness.

Where are the people that carry a fear or an awe and wonder of a God who holds the universe in its place?

I have never imagined a world where airports are closed, and nations are on a lockdown. May be God is calling us to attention, we have been standing at ease for so long.

The study of the occurrence of disease, incidence, distribution and possible control of disease, epidemiology, is on its toes, something bigger than they imagined occurred!

When Isaiah saw God in chapter six, he cried, when John saw him in Revelation he fell as though dead. I hope you can see that the same God who gives us his Kingdom is the same God who is a consuming fire. Therefore, let us serve him with awe and reverence. Hebrews 12:28:

Thanks for the great message Elder. The only way to please God is by faith, and faith is a result of total surrender NOT struggling which i believe can be the best way to prevent us christians from becoming prodigal with Godly given gifts. If we can stop struggling and start rejoicing in the Lord's statutes as the Psalmist says in Psalms 119:14 then the dynamite in us will explode to tangibly change the people we live with.
